Objective: To further clarify the chemical basis of traditional Chinese medicine, it is necessary to systematically study the chemical constituents of Pueraria. Method: To produce the compound by extracting Pueraria lobata and using such method as distillation, extraction, silica gel chromatography, TLC detection. And then NMR spectroscopy is applied to identify the structure of the compound. Results: Through this experiment, a 3, 4-diphenylpyrazole compound can be separated out from the n-butanol fraction of Pueraria ethanol extractive. Physicochemical constant and spectral analysis were applied to identify the chemical structure. By reckoning, the formula of the compound was supposed to be C21H22N2O9.
