Air pollution, represented by PM 2.5 pollutants, has a heavy impact on human skin. It is believed that the effect of microenvironment on individual is more crucial, rather than the macro climate, which previous related research rarely involved. In this study, we utilized one Internet of Things (IoT) air monitoring device and one portable skin detecting device to collect the big-data of subjects’ skin conditions and their air microenvironment in real-time. Based on these data, we tried to find or confirm the correlation between microenvironment PM 2.5 and individual skin condition.
