Inhalt:
The energy transition demands an increasing number of installed wind turbines and consequently a higher grid-stabilizing integration. Therefore, a changed wind turbine control strategy is proposed and its impact on the grid is examined in a simulation and on a test bench. This paper points out how far existing grid processes can be maintained and at which points adjustments need to be carried out to achieve a stable highly wind energy penetrated electricity grid.
