This work is based on a 400W solar micro-inverter prototyping including the selection of a high step up DC/DC topology. First, a review of the state of the art is done in order to identify the three most suitable DC/DC topologies. Then, these topologies are compared through the calculations and simulations. Finally, the current fed full bridge topology is selected thanks to a high switching frequency capability with low losses (ZVS mode). Design and experimental results of the prototype are presented.
