Inhalt:
The control of a Dual Active Bridge series resonant converter (DABSRC) needs a lot of considerations. The Zero-Voltage-Switching (ZVS) range is limited to a certain minimum power transfer at a fixed frequency or fixed phase shift. State of the art approaches control the power transfer using a frequency PI controller and fulfill the ZVS requirement by applying a previously calculated optimal phase-shift angle for this operating point. Using a decoupling approach one can control the resonant current angle to a ZVS fulfilling value and adapt to parameter variations in real-time and control the power transfer without checking of the ZVS behaviour.
