Infini-Cell: Bus Bar for Battery Cell Interconnection

Energy storage is a challenging market with continuous developments in technologies and new constraints. To address these challenges, Mersen, a worldwide expert in electrical power devices, develops and provides new generations of interconnection bus bars, cold plates, and electrical protection devices. Continuing its efforts in the innovation and development of technologies for energy storage applications, Mersen has developed a new laminated bus bar technology called Infini-Cell bus bar that offers a safe, reliable and cost-effective solution for cylindrical and prismatic cells interconnection. This publication presents some technical characteristics of the Infini-Cell technology, focusing especially on cylindrical interconnection concept.
