Inhalt:
The presented new motor control architecture for automation drives enables high flexibility combined with a very high position control loop bandwidth with only very few low-cost programmable devices. It is nearly a 2-chip control board design as all memories (RAM & flash) are also on-chip. One standard microcontroller and one standard FPGA are sufficient for fieldbus-based safety functions according to IEC 61800-5-2, fully integrated as required today.
