This paper presents an improved analytical calculation method for determining the saturation-dependent common-mode and differential-mode inductance of coupled four-leg-inductors. In order to be able to compare the calculations with measurement results, a method for measuring the differential- and commonmode inductance is shown. Subsequently a comparison to finite-element simulations and measurements has been made. The accuracy of the new calculation method is very similar to the simulation, which compares well with the measurements but only needs a fraction of the time. For the calculation a magnetic circuit has been used and expanded with non-linear magnetic field quantities.
