With the rapid development of Internet technology, it has been widely used in various fields and has become an indispensable part of the public’s production and life. However, the subsequent network security problems have emerged one after another, which are influenced by many factors from the outside world, resulting in abnormal flow and easily affecting users’ network usage status. In this context, the paper firstly analyzes NetFlow technology and data flow collection technology in depth, and designs the construction idea of NetFlow-based flow anomaly detection system by using open-source software development, based on which, the verification of the function is completed and the result verifies that the system has good performance.
