Aiming at the driving mode of the original asynchronous motor reducer of a wind power cooling fan, which has major defects such as large loss and complex maintenance, this paper applies the permanent magnet motor to directly drive the cooling fan. Aiming at the problems of narrow installation space, speed increase and power increase, through the technical ways of electromagnetic scheme design, punching strength check and fan selection of the permanent magnet direct drive motor, The motor design is completed by means of finite element simulation analysis, strength analysis and thermal analysis. Through the comparison with the experimental values of the prototype, the ideal motor performance results are obtained, which meet the design indexes. Through the design of this motor, the design and production technology foundation of the finished motor is laid, which plays an important role in the derivation and finalization of relevant types of motors.
