Finite element static analysis and anti overturning check of an auxiliary arm for a special manipulator

With the development of modern industry, manipulator gradually replaces manual operation. The manipulator is required to have high accuracy in the process of grasping, moving and placing the workpiece, and the movement trajectory cannot be changed due to force deformation. Stiffness refers to deformation, that is, the main stressed parts of the manipulator should have good stiffness and the deformation should be as small as possible in order to ensure the accuracy of the motion trajectory. In this paper, the telescopic boom with the combination of main boom and auxiliary boom is used to carry out the finite element static analysis of the auxiliary boom of the manipulator, and the anti overturning check is carried out. The calculation results show that the displacement and equivalent stress meet the application requirements.
