Heavy equipment manufacturing is the heart of industry and the lifeblood of the national economy, and it is an important cornerstone to support the country's comprehensive national power. However, the traditional production methods of heavy equipment manufacturing have brought greater pressure on environmental protection. At the same time, Made in China 2025 points out that green manufacturing should be carried out to improve the level of manufacturing, increase the greenness of products and achieve sustainable development of the manufacturing industry. Therefore, in order to help the heavy equipment manufacturing industry to carry out green manufacturing in a more targeted manner, this paper determines its green manufacturing evaluation indexes and weights from three perspectives of product whole life cycle, environmental impact and resource optimization, and constructs a heavy equipment green manufacturing evaluation index system based on product whole life cycle, and establishes a heavy equipment green manufacturing evaluation model based on fuzzy comprehensive evaluation, finally a typical enterprise in the industry is selected to empirically prove the heavy equipment green manufacturing evaluation index system and evaluation model, analyse the implementation effect of green manufacturing in this enterprise, and propose optimization measures to provide guidance for enterprises to better carry out green manufacturing.
