Auto electronic and electrical functions are becoming more and more abundant, and it is difficult for testers to keep up with the speed of version updates. This article combines Android automatic test method and CAN network communication to design a vehicle-machine automatic test platform. The platform includes multiple terminals such as the management backend, PC, and Android. It uses the cloud platform to store data, and can perform operations such as information sharing, offline operation, and bug classification within the team. Using the designed test platform to quickly iteratively update the sample system, accumulatively tested more than 5000 test cases, the average iteration cycle was shortened by 29%, and the manpower requirement was saved by 27% compared with manual testing. Compared with traditional manual or semi-automated test methods, this platform can greatly shorten the test cycle and reduce labor costs, while having good portability and a promising development prospect.
