GIS technology is mostly used in the physical evaluation of land resources and water resources in natural resources and environmental audit. However, the atmospheric environment has distinct geographical and spatial distribution characteristics, and the current audit technology can not fit its characteristics well, so it can not fully play the supervision role of audit. In order to better improve the efficiency of atmospheric environment audit, strengthen the innovation and application of audit technology, and promote the smooth realization of the goal of air pollution prevention and control, this paper analyzes the feasibility of applying GIS to atmospheric environment audit, embeds the key technology of GIS into each stage of audit, and constructs the atmospheric environment audit framework based on GIS technology. The results of air pollution prevention and control are analyzed and evaluated in order to promote the development and innovation of air environment audit practice technology.
