There are potential safety impacts on the intake system of transport aircraft engine working under the condition of freezing of supercooled large water droplets. FAA has put forward airworthiness requirements for engine operation under the condition of freezing of supercooled large water droplets through amendment 25.1309(b). This paper analyzes the airworthiness of the revised provisions. From the compliance design analysis of two dimensions of engine uninstalled state and installed state, combining with the experience model, respectively from the nacelle, power plant and the body part of the compliance of the corresponding advice is given to demonstrate the thinking and method, to carry out domestic transportation aircraft engine supercooled large droplets anti-icing airworthiness compliance work to provide technical support.
