Based on the technical parameters and the structural characteristics of the 1000 kV ultra-high-voltage (UHV) transformer, the magnetic leakage distribution of the UHV transformer with and without magnetic shielding is studied using ANSYS Maxwell. The difference of magnetic flux leakage distribution of UHV Transformer under two conditions is analyzed, and the change of magnetic shielding on magnetic flux leakage distribution is discussed. The relevant conclusions provide a reference for the maintenance and the research on magnetic flux leakage of the UHV transformer.
