Simulation of Axial Fan in Subway based on CFD

To give guidance and direction for the design of subway axial fan, optimize design project, shorten design period and reduce manpower and material resources that the design experimentation should consumed. Physical model and mathematical model were established by use commercial computational fluid dynamics software FLUENT. The physical model was segmented by tetrahedron unstructured network. Then the boundary condition was settled according to real condition. At last pressure field and velocity field under different rotate speed were simulated of the subway axial fan. Then the total pressure and efficiency was obtained and result of simulation was contrasted with tested results. Wind volume and pressure are so inosculated and very same under rated condition. Then the numerical simulation result is reliable and can guide the subway axial fan design.
