Inhalt:
Open-loop Hall-effect-based current measurements and their associated signal conditioning circuits are prone to suffer conducted EMI issues in AC current-controlled AC-DC converters; especially if the number of low performance auxiliary PSUs is small and the current sensor measuring range is wide. Moreover, this effect become worse when low-cost microcontrollers are used to implement the digital control in three-phase power converters. This manuscript provides an experimental evaluation of the current measurement under those circumstances with two different signal conditioning circuits.
