Electric drive systems are becoming more popular over a wide range of applications. Requirements on reliability, torque ripple, etc. ask for more complex control strategies. A rapid prototyping tool is proposed allowing the simulation and modelling of Integrated Modular Motor Drives (IMMD) and automated code generation for an automotive grade microcontroller AURIX(TM) TC234. This rapid prototyping tool is specially designed to work with a multi-phase system, where the desired systems can be activated and multiple combinations are possible. The presented results will show the agreement and performances among simulations, generated and hand code.
