The master-slave windings motor compensates the torque ripple of the low carrier ratio system based on the principle of active filtering. Prediction and acquisition of voltage information of master windings that work in low carrier ratio is the key to realize torque compensation. The existing methods obtain relevant information through integrated control. To further improve the application range, this paper proposes an embedded master-slave windings system where the slave windings adaptively compensate the periodic torque ripple of the master windings. Exhaustive discussion on principle and control strategy is provided. Simulation and experimental results validate 76% improvement in the torque accuracy.
