The condition of the grounding device is closely related to the safe and reliable operation of the power system. It is of great significance to scientifically and reasonably test various parameters of the grounding device and accurately evaluate its condition. In order to solve the problem of inaccurate measurement of the resistance value of the complex ground network, this paper proposes an indirect measurement method. First, measure the resistance value of a simple ground that is not too far away from the complex ground, then connect the complex ground to the simple ground, and inject current at both ends of the connecting lead to obtain the total resistance of the loop. By measuring the simple ground to raise the potential, modify the loop resistance to obtain the grounding resistance of the complex ground network. And use the ground network analysis software CDEGS to carry on the modeling analysis, demonstrate the feasibility of this method.
