Due to the long-term work in the coastal port and exposure to the air, the shore power cable is often affected by environmental factors such as solar radiation and tide. These factors aggravate the aging speed of the shore power cable, resulting in its service life far less than that of the traditional cable. Therefore, the temperature field distribution of the shore power cable under the solar radiation is calculated by using the finite element method, and the solar radiation intensity is considered, the influence of the cable surface on the solar radiation absorption ratio on the cable core temperature is calculated. Then, the change of the cable core temperature with the immersion depth is calculated, and the influence of water flow velocity and seawater convection heat transfer coefficient on the cable core temperature is considered. This paper can be used to guide the laying of shore power cables and the prediction of cable temperature.
