With the transformation of China's energy structure, the rapid development of new energy industry is very important for China. A variety of energy storage technologies based on new energy power stations play a key role in improving power quality, consumption, frequency modulation and power reliability. Aiming at the power grid side, this paper puts forward the energy storage capacity allocation method for substation load reduction, peak shaving and valley filling, and analyzes the actual data of a regional power grid; The benefit calculation model is established from the power grid side. Through the example analysis, it is concluded that the energy storage power station can obtain good economic benefits.
