With the increasing complexity of engineering design objects, online collaborative design is considered to be a way to solve complex design problems by using multidisciplinary teams and parallel work. However, the coexistence of collaboration and competition among interdisciplinary teams, the coexistence of the consistency of the overall design goals and the heterogeneity of individual knowledge, causes frequent conflicts in the design process. The traditional integrated conflict resolution strategy adopts the corresponding conflict resolution strategy to solve the conflicts in order based on the conflict classification. Essentially, conflict resolution is regarded as a static resolution process, which is a repetitive work of "detecting conflicts and resolving conflicts". This article defines the concept of conflict degree by integrating the three dimensions of conflict subject contradiction degree, conflict object complexity and conflict problem impact degree, and links conflict with the collaborative design process, and regards the conflict process as a dynamic development process with the design process. On this basis, for conflicts with a high degree of conflict, the strategy of direct activation assisted negotiation is adopted to shorten the conflict resolution cycle and improve the quality of conflict resolution. Based on the modeling and calculation method of conflict degree, the negotiation process is explained.
