Systematic error correction method for ground-based MIMO array imaging radar

Aiming at the problems of cumbersome implementation and high cost of existing correction methods, a feasible system error correction method for MIMO array radar is proposed in this paper. Firstly, the envelope error of the system is corrected by collecting the metal plate data. Then, the amplitude error and the coarse phase error of the system are corrected by collecting the corner reflector data. Finally, the residual phase is estimated by the phase gradient autofocus algorithm (PGA).
