Hemispherical resonant gyroscope (HRG) is a new type of Coriolis gyroscope with broad prospects for development. Damping mismatch is one of the main error sources of rate-integrating hemispherical resonant gyroscope. Aiming at the angle-dependent bias drift caused by damping mismatch, a pre-compensation method and a post-compensation method are proposed, which can reduce the gyro drift by 90%. In addition, a virtual rotation method is proposed for the gyro lockin effect caused by anisodamping, which effectively overcomes the lock-in problem of HRG.
