This research constructed a vegetable traceability system based on a safe production management model with a hybrid architecture of the browser client (B/S) and the APP client (C/S), with MySQL and SQLite as the database, and with C# and Java as the development language. The information management and traceability functions for the entire process of vegetable safety production were designed by technologies of intelligence mobile data collecting, UCC/EAN-128 coding, and QR code. The application effect shows that the system realizes electronic management of the basic information of vegetable production and production process information, which is convenient for producers to manage vegetable production information, and at the same time automatically generates product traceability information and can be printed independently. Compared with other vegetable traceability systems, this system has comprehensive vegetable production information management, simple operation and strong scalability, and is suitable for production entities such as cooperatives, agricultural enterprises, and large producers. The system has achieved good application effects in characteristic vegetable production areas such as carrot from Nanle, Chinese cabbage from Xiayi, and pepper from Zhecheng.
