As the energy crisis becomes more and more serious, the world pays more and more attention to the new energy, so distributed generator (DG) will be the research hotspot and development focus in the future. The microgrid technology effectively solves the influence of distributed power supply on the large power grid. Microgrid supports grid-connected operation and isolated operation. In grid-connected operation, distributed power supply can be fully used to generate electric energy, while in isolated operation; an independent small power grid system can be rapidly formed to provide continuous and reliable power supply. Based on the study of droop control, this paper proposes a microgrid smooth switching control based on droop control. When the microgrid runs in island mode, the power balance can be carried out quickly to realize the smooth switching of the microgrid, and the voltage and frequency inside the microgrid can meet the operation requirements, so that the local load can continue to use electricity reliably. Finally, the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed control strategy are verified by matlab/simulink simulation.
