In order to explore the effect of the flow channel form of the electrolytic cell and the porosity of the diffusion layer on the hydrogen production efficiency of the proton exchange membrane. The effects of square flow channel, arched flow channel and triangular flow channel on hydrogen production were compared by simulation method, and it was concluded that the square flow channel can help to enhance the hydrogen production efficiency of the electrolytic cell. The influence of the porosity of the diffusion layer on the hydrogen production efficiency of the electrolytic cell was analyzed, and the simulation results showed that the smaller the porosity of the diffusion layer, the higher the mass fraction of hydrogen.
