The electrostatic field has the characteristics of high signal strength, long propagation distance and difficult to eliminate, so it has incomparable advantages in ship positioning. By using vertical direct current electric dipole modeling, the analytical formula of the electromagnetic field generated by the electric dipole in seawater in the deep-sea model is solved according to Maxwell's equations of static electromagnetic field. Combined with the actual motion state of the ship, through Lorentz transformation, the analytical formula of the electromagnetic field generated by the motion field source is obtained, and the simulation verification shows that the ship motion has little effect on the electrostatic field, the conclusion of the same method as that of stationary ships can be used for the positioning of moving ships, which lays the foundation for the next step to study the positioning of moving ships.
