In the calcination process in the production of prebaked anodes for aluminum electrolysis, the calcination of petroleum coke produces high-temperature flue gas with a temperature of 1200 °C. If it is directly discharged, it will cause a great waste of heat. Cogeneration transformation to achieve the purpose of improving energy efficiency. In this paper, through the research on the production process and the utilization of waste heat of prebaked anode manufacturers for aluminum electrolysis, the reform measures for cogeneration of waste heat from calcined high-temperature flue gas are proposed, and the data is analyzed and calculated. Through the transformation of cogeneration of waste heat from calcined hightemperature flue gas, the flue gas passes through the waste heat boiler to generate superheated steam, which is used for power generation, industrial production heat and residential heating in winter. Through data analysis and calculation, in this case, in the calcination process, after using the waste heat boiler cogeneration for heat utilization, the recoverable heat is 938,506.59 GJ, equivalent to 32,021.84 tons of standard coal, which has extremely high energy, environmental and economic benefits.
