The technology of Hydrogen Energy and hydrogen electricity coupling is introduced in this paper. Hydrogen Energy is a clean, carbon-free, flexible and efficient primary energy with a wide range of applications. It is also an excellent energy storage medium and plays an increasingly important role in the energy systems of various countries. Under the "Double carbon" target, the electric-hydrogen coupling model plays an important role in constructing the new power system with the new energy as the main body. In the future, hydrogen production from new energy sources will be the main source of hydrogen energy and become an important part of the multi-source clean energy supply system. Taking the Fukushima Hydrogen Energy Research Project (FH2R) in Japan as an example, this paper analyzes the specific operation system and technical parameters of power-to-gas, and discusses the role of electric hydrogen coupling in the new power system. Under the operation mode of electric hydrogen coupling, new energy power generation is used to produce hydrogen by electrolyzing water. Hydrogen can be stored as energy for chemical synthesis, combustion and power generation. This can not only improve the flexible regulation capacity of the power system, but also facilitate the substitution of electric energy in the industrial field of high energy consumption and high emission, and finally realize the deep decarbonization of the energy consumption side.
