Energy efficiency reflects the energy-saving level of the Pumped Storage Power Station. In this paper, the energy flow of pumped storage power stations is analyzed firstly, and then the energy loss of each link in the energy flow is researched. In addition, a calculation method that can truly reflect the comprehensive efficiency level of the Pumped Storage power station in a certain period is put forward. At last, a Pumped Storage Power Station in China is taken as an example to illustrate the method.
