Energy consumption monitoring is an important link in energy management. It aims to find abnormal energy consumption and find the cause of the abnormality to solve it, thereby reducing energy waste. The traditional energy consumption abnormal monitoring method mainly uses the threshold comparison method. This method is simple and easy to use, but lacks self-adaptive ability and is prone to missed detection or false detection. Therefore, this paper uses the BP neural network prediction method to analyse the application scenarios of abnormal energy consumption monitoring, builds an abnormal energy consumption monitoring model based on the BP neural network, obtains the energy consumption prediction interval under normal conditions, dynamically sets the alarm baseline, and reduces the missed or false detections.
