At present, with the rise of cloud computing and the wide application of cloud storage, the security problem of data storage also appears. Reversible data hiding is an emerging research direction of information hiding technology. As an significant combination of encryption technology and data hiding technology, reversible information hiding in ciphertext domain can play a double insurance role for information security in the process of data processing. Aiming at the current technical requirements of reversible data hiding technology in ciphertext domain, this paper introduces the related researches on reversible data hiding in ciphertext domain, makes technical analysis of representative algorithms under different architectures, and points out their advantages and limitations. Finally, combined with the existing research status and evaluation system, some suggestions for improvement and directions for improvement are put forward.
