In this study, based on the basic data of Qin-Mang River Basin (Henan section) and the evaluation results of the original ‘DPRSR’ water ecological carrying capacity evaluation model, the SD model and cloud model of system dynamics were constructed combined with the development status of Qin-Mang River Basin (Henan section), and the effectiveness of the model was tested using the Vensim PLE software and Python software. The results show that the constructed SD model has passed the validity test and is reliable, so the constructed model can be used for the water ecological carrying capacity of Qin-Mang River Basin and has strong consistency with the calculation results of the original ‘DPRSR’ water ecological carrying capacity evaluation model.
