To ensure the navigation safety of the channel, a safety evaluation model based on hierarchy entropy weight grey fuzzy comprehensive evaluation is proposed, which is verified by taking Dagusha channel of Tianjin Port as an example. Firstly, the factors affecting the navigation safety of the channel are divided into four first-class indicators, nine second-class indicators and 23 third-class indicators, so as to establish the evaluation index system of navigation safety of the channel; Secondly, analytic hierarchy process (AHP) and entropy weight method (EW) are used to determine the subjective and objective weights of each index respectively, and the two are multiplied and normalized to obtain the combined weight of the index; Finally, the grey fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model is used to evaluate the safety of port channel navigation. Taking Dagusha channel of Tianjin Port as an example, the safety of Dagusha channel is evaluated by using the grey fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model of hierarchy entropy weight, and then compared with the traditional fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model to verify the evaluation results. The results show that the model has good applicability and accuracy when applied to channel navigation safety evaluation. At the same time, it also provides some reference suggestions for maritime supervision and other relevant departments to ensure ship navigation safety.
