Research purposes: BIM technology is rapidly and far-reaching impact on various fields of bridge construction. With the increase of the span of railway cable-stayed bridge, the problem of cable parametric vibration gradually appears, and it is worth studying to apply BIM technology to the calculation of cable parametric vibration. Taking Hanjiatuo Yangtze River Bridge in Chongqing-Lichuan Railway as the engineering background, the full bridge BIM model is established by CATIA, Through the secondary development of CAA, the dynamic characteristics of the bridge are calculated, the influence of sag effect on cable mode is discussed, and the cable which is prone to parametric vibration is obtained by frequency comparison. The influence of various factors (excitation frequency, excitation amplitude and damping) on cable parametric vibration is discussed by finite element method and numerical integration method, which provides a certain theoretical basis for setting up cable vibration suppression device.
