The water speed of an amphibious vehicle is determined by the vehicle body resistance, propulsion device input power and propulsion efficiency, and the propulsion efficiency of the water propulsion device is a key factor in the water performance of the vehicle. This paper analyses the performance of the propeller of an amphibious vehicle, and analyses the parameters such as thrust, torque and open water efficiency of the propeller when it works in open water by CFD method, and compares them with the test results, and finds that the conclusions are in good agreement with the theoretical analysis results, so as to form a preliminary propeller open water performance prediction method and provide reference for the subsequent design work.
