The flow conditions of the tributaries affected by the backwater of the main stream are complex, and the flood combination of the main stream and tributaries is random. Based on the historical flood conditions of hydrological station on the main and tributary rivers, the extreme flow conditions that may occur at the bridge site are analyzed and the combination of the main and tributary river floods is studied. The controlling factors related to navigation clearance dimensions and navigation flow conditions are studied and numerically simulated by two-dimensional hydraulic model. By comparing the parameters of navigation water level and flow condition in different working conditions before and after building the bridge, the results show the influence of engineering implementation on waterway and provide relevant basis for engineering decision-making and reference for hydrological analysis of similar projects.
