Under the goal of carbon peak and carbon neutral, focusing on the carbon emissions of electric vehicles in different regions is of profound significance to promote the electrification of the transportation industry. However, previous calculations of carbon emissions of electric vehicles are mostly concentrated in a single province or the whole country. Therefore, this paper determines the life cycle carbon emission accounting boundary of electric vehicles in the driving stage according to the life cycle assessment (LCA) method, and considers the prediction of electric vehicle ownership in each region. The carbon emissions of electric vehicles in different regions were calculated, and the historical stage, shortterm and medium-term change trends were given, so as to put forward relevant suggestions on promoting clean power structure and improving transportation electrification around electric vehicles.
