In order to solve the problems of high order derivation and confidence assessment of the optimization results in the optimal design of multi-coil homogeneous magnetic field, an optimal design method of multi-coil homogeneous magnetic field based on the combination of intelligent optimization algorithm and finite element method is proposed. Firstly, the parameters to be optimized are determined and the deviation rate of magnetic field is used as the objective function; then, the intelligent optimization algorithm is used to find the optimum of the objective function; finally, based on the optimized structural parameters, the corresponding finite element simulation model is established to check the credibility of the optimization results. The simulation results show that the optimal parameters obtained by this method are better than those obtained by the traditional derivative method, and the reliability of the optimization results is ensured after the finite element method.
