Objective: To analyze the research literature on cardiovascular disease risk assessment using Citespace to explore research hotspots and trends in this field. Methods: The relevant literature of cardiovascular disease risk assessment in CNKI database was retrieved, citespace was used to construct a knowledge graph, the publication and cooperation were visually analyzed by authors and institutions, and the main research contents and hot spots were analyzed by keyword co-occurrence, clustering and emergence. Results: In terms of the number of articles published, a total of 444 valid articles (2003 to date) were obtained, showing an overall upward trend. In terms of keywords, a total of 741 keywords were included, of which 8 were highly central (>0.1) keywords, and the keywords highlighted in the past 5 years were prophylaxis, type 2 diabetes, influencing factors, arteriosclerosis, and health management. In terms of authors, a total of 1055 authors were included in the author cooperation map, of which 116 were core authors; Institutionally, a total of 303 institutions were included. Conclusion: The visual method found that the research field of cardiovascular disease risk assessment has formed a core author and institution with regional characteristics, and the current research hotspots of cardiovascular disease complications risk assessment, risk assessment methods and their prevention are the influencing factors of the future development trend.
