Configuration and Evaluation of User-side Energy Storage Based on Particle Swarm Algorithm

Energy storage technology is the core support, which stimulates the growth of new energy, covering multiple sides such as power supply, power grid and users. The economic benefits brought by the application of different energy storage technologies are also different. With the user side as the background, this paper studied the configuration of various energy storage technologies, established configuration model with the maximum net income as the objective function, and used particle swarm algorithm to optimize the solution; and take net income, payback period and return on investment as evaluation indicators, to evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of different energy storage technology configuration schemes for an industrial and commercial user. The result shows that the particle swarm optimization algorithm can obtain the optimal power configuration, and the lithium iron phosphate battery (LFP) configured on the user side is the best, which can better save costs.
