Traditional archery has a long history of development in China and is an excellent cultural heritage of our country in ancient times. However, with the growth of the times, traditional archery has been declining. In recent years, under the promotion of many experts and scholars, traditional archery has embarked on the road of a second revival. Artificial intelligence technology is widely used in physical education in the current era of rapid technological development. In this paper, AI motion capture technology is applied to the technical teaching of traditional archery through the literature and experimental analysis methods. AI motion technology is used to assist teaching in correcting the technical movements of standardized archery and improving the efficiency of teaching traditional archery technology in response to the problems such as movement standardization that occur in the process of teaching archery technology.
