Inhalt:
This paper analyzes measurements of current harmonics generated by a prototype silicon carbide (SiC) automotive traction inverter, which is first connected to an artificial network according to ISO 21498-2, and then feeding a replica of an automotive DC bus. A method is proposed to transfer the current measured with the ISO 21498-2 laboratory setup to the more complex DC bus to be found in a typical EV. Additionally, the critical frequency components of the traction inverter for the complex DC bus are discussed.
