In this paper, a testbench for two-phase interleaved coupled inductors for use in three-level grid tied inverters is presented. The complexity of the testbench is greatly reduced, by only emulating two of the three levels of the inverter. The advantage of the testbench is the free choice of power factor, grid frequency and voltage, as well as power, compared to the actual grid tied inverter. The focus of this work is the cascaded voltage controller, which employs methods to maximize both command tracking and disturbance rejection through online trajectory generation.
