Inhalt:
Typically, the electrical quantities for evaluating power converter circuits are calculated analytically or numerically in virtual design routines. In this paper, a novel hybrid approach for behavioral modeling is presented, which combines the advantages of analytical and numerical computation and minimizes the disadvantages. The high computation time occurring in numerical approaches is extensively investigated and minimized in this publication for the hybrid approach. The approach is demonstrated using a well-known example of a single-phase active power factor correction circuit. All presented methods can be easily transferred to other power electronic applications.
