Active three-phase rectifier present a high-frequency noise level; therefore, the analytical identification and predictions of noise sources is essential to understand the problem. Electromagnetic interference (EMI) is classified in differential mode (DM) and common mode (CM) noise. This paper presents the experimental validation of an equivalent DM and CM ripple current models used to identify the source of noise on a three-phase rectifier. The model is validated by simulation, once the sources of noise are identified and it is experimentally verified in a 1kW prototype operating at 100 kHz switching frequency.
