              Future energy grids will have a high share of power converters to connect renewable power plants or energy storages to AC grids. Moreover, overlaying DC transmission grids in the high voltage sector, connected by additional power converters, are planned in several areas. This work shows the extension of a decentral controller for each power converter for these applications to an adaptive grid control approach. The control approach was implemented on a test bench at IALB and evaluated both in simulation as well as experimentally in different operating scenarios.
